Swedish petfood company Lantmännen Doggy has appointed Anette Rosengren, currently the company's communication director, to replace Hans Nilsson as head marketing director.
Lantmännen Doggy has been struggling with falling profits for some time now, which has been difficult, the company says.
“Anette has a lot of experience from top positions in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, which made her a perfect choice to become the next MD and to lead the change work that will take place at the company,” said Johan Karlström, head of the food sector.
Rosengren came to Lantmännen in 2008, with more than 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and category and strategy development positions.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun working direct with products again. These products mark the end point in our value chain, which sees us taking responsibility from field to fork. It’s particularly tough to work with products whose customers have six legs. What we offer needs to be good for both dogs and cats as well as their owners,” says Anette Rosengren.
