On May 11, 2020 RAWZ Natural Pet Food, Inc, sent out digital communication to its pet parents, retail partners, family owned distributors and supply chain partners thanking them for their part in helping the not for profit company donate a cumulative $1.4 Million to their RAWZ Fund partners. “We couldn’t have done this without you.” The communication stated.
RAWZ Natural Pet Food’s purpose is to improve the lives of pets through minimally processed nutrition, their mission is to do so while donating 100% of their profits to organizations that provide service dogs and brain injury and spinal cord injury recovery services. RAWZ has established partnerships through The RAWZ Fund with local recovery service organizations that directly helped their sons, Andy and Jim III, when they suffered life-altering injuries just 15 months apart.
The RAWZ Fund
The RAWZ Fund helps to support: the Portsmouth NH based Krempels Center, dedicated to improving the lives of those living with brain injury; Durham NH based Northeast Passage, empowering individuals living with disability to define, pursue and achieve their Therapeutic Recreation and Adaptive Sports goals; Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and their new initiative Supportive Surroundings, which allows them to support families during the life-changing experience of rehabilitation and to ensure a safe transition home after. Additionally, The RAWZ Fund helps to support National Service Dogs in Canada and Massachusetts based NEADS World Class Service Dogs who placed 48 service dogs in 2019.
