Partner in Pet Food, based in Budapest, Hungary, announced the acquisition of Swedish pet food manufacturer Doggy and its brands Bozita, Bozita Robur and Doggy & Mjau from Lithuania-based investment company NDX Group.

From its base in Hungary, Partner in Pet Food is a European private-label pet food producer, supplying international and local retailers in 38 countries. The company makes a full value range of dry, wet and semi-moist cat and dog food, alucups, pouches and snacks from nine production facilities spanning four countries: the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, with an additional sales office in Poland.

Doggy was Sweden's largest pet food producer, Doggy AB (formerly Lantmännen Doggy) also owns Lantmännen Bozita in Germany. The company markets both its own products and private-label products throughout Eastern and Western Europe.

Doggy milestones
