Matrix Partners, a full-service pet-centric marketing agency, recently began working with Noah’s Bark dog biscuits. This new initiative began during summer 2017 and has involved redesigning Noah’s Bark packaging, coordinating product reviews with popular influencers, and planning and implementing social media strategy and content.
“Our team is very excited to begin this partnership with Noah’s Bark dog biscuits,” said Don Tomala, managing partner of Matrix Partners, in a press release. “Our office dogs love their all-natural, healthy treats, and we love that we now have the opportunity to introduce and showcase them to consumers in new ways.”
Noah’s Bark claims its treats contain no potentially harmful fillers and are packed with fresh fruits, vegetables, grains and protein. The treats come in three flavors, including Bodacious Beef, Cha-Cha Chicken and Peanutty Perfection.
Matrix Partners on the importance of pet food packaging
Matrix Partners recently won three awards for their work on pet food packaging for Caru Pet Food, Health Extension and Nature’s Logic. Tomala shared some of the pet food packaging insights his team used to win three 2017 Graphic Design USA American Package Design Awards.
Foremost, pet food packages have to make an impression within three seconds of being seen, he said.
“When shopping the pet food aisle, customers scan for graphic cues such as grain free icons and ‘made in USA’ flags when they encounter an unfamiliar brand,” Tomala told Petfood Industry. “If they don’t quickly see something relevant to them, they will keep on walking.”
Matrix Partners has previously partnered with several other pet brands to help with marketing, design, advertising, public relations, social media and more.
