The KibbleCon 2024 itinerary and speaker lineup have been announced for the premier in-person conference designed for pet food professionals. Hosted by Kansas State University’s Pet Food Program, the event will take place on October 23-24 in Manhattan, Kansas.
“We’ve crafted an engaging and informative program featuring leading pet industry experts,” said Dr. Julia Guazzelli Pezzali, assistant professor and director of the Pet Food Program at K-State. “The conference will cover a range of topics including market trends, economics, consumer insights, pet nutrition, innovation, processing advancements, sustainability, and pet food safety and quality.”
Designed for those involved with the pet food industry or interested in deepening their knowledge and understanding of the industry, the event will also feature research presentations by faculty and graduate students, brainstorming sessions, and an industry leader panel discussion, complemented by ample networking opportunities with industry partners and peers.
“KibbleCon offers K-State a platform to showcase our research capabilities while providing pet food professionals an opportunity to express their needs,” noted Dr. Lonnie Hobbs Jr., assistant professor of Agricultural Economics at K-State. “We are excited to host KibbleCon, where academia and industry come together to share knowledge and collaborate on solutions that drive innovation in the pet food sector,” adds Dr. Pezzali.
