Zoomark is gearing up for its 21st edition, set to take place from May 5-7, 2025, at BolognaFiere in Italy. With months still to go, 80% of the exhibition space has been booked, and registrations are continuing to come in from across the globe.

"People in the industry are greatly looking forward to taking part in the show, having an opportunity to gather and look to the future together," said Pascale Sonvico, Zoomark's show office and sales manager. "After adding hall 28, dedicated to the supply-chain companies, we have just announced another new hall, hall 19."

The 2025 edition will span nine halls and cover 78,000 square meters (840,000 square feet). Luisa Bersanetti, exhibition manager, explained the new layout is designed to help visitors and exhibitors make the most of the event, with thematic pathways focusing on trends such as sustainability, quality and innovation.

"One of the new ideas we are working on for the forthcoming event is creating specific pathways dedicated to the most interesting market trends, designed to optimize and streamline the visitor’s experience and ensure that exhibitors in all halls are guaranteed a steady flow of traffic," said Bersanetti.

Zoomark 2025 will feature five themed areas, including Next 5.0, which highlights emerging pet technology, and Factory, dedicated to the supply chain. Returning areas include Pet Vision, which showcases new products, and Aqua Project, focused on aquariums and terrariums. Last but not least, Atelier will host the very top of the range in pet wellness and comfort.

With additional services and hospitality options, the event aims to facilitate meaningful business connections while highlighting key industry trends. Zoomark 2025 has introduced a matchmaking platform to help buyers and exhibitors plan meetings in advance, making it easier to connect during the show, Bersanetti said.

"We have arranged special welcome and hospitality packages in Bologna during the event, added Bersanetti. "The focal point for all the activities planned for buyers will naturally be the VIP & Buyers Lounge, a meeting place and networking hub that has always been much appreciated."
