Grubhub announced a new partnership with PetSmart, marking its first venture into pet retail on the Grubhub Marketplace.
The collaboration brings more than 14,000 items, including pet supplies, food, supplements, and accessories, from over 1,400 PetSmart locations across all 50 states, allowing customers to order for on-demand delivery. Grubhub's loyalty program, Grubhub+, will also include PetSmart, giving members access to unlimited $0 delivery fees on eligible orders.
"Now with PetSmart, we're giving our customers the ultimate convenience of getting more of what they want delivered right to their door," said Craig Whitmer, Grubhub’s vice president of new verticals. "Americans are investing in their pets more than ever, and I’m thrilled that customers can cater to their pets’ needs where they already order their favorite meals, grocery, and convenience items."
This partnership broadens Grubhub’s recent expansions into grocery and convenience deliveries, which include collaborations with Albertsons, CVS, and Mercato, aiming to meet increasing demand from millennial and Gen Z consumers.
