Simmons Pet Food has promoted Brian Burke as the new senior vice president of operations, effective immediately. Burke replaces Derek Baucom, who will assume the role of president for Simmons Animal Nutrition.

Burke brings to his new role a distinguished 30-year career with Simmons, having held various leadership positions in both poultry and pet food operations. The company said he is recognized for his operational expertise and commitment to excellence.
