PureBites expands sales and marketing team

Three new team members will support brand growth across North America.

Pure Treats Inc., maker of the PureBites line of pet treats, toppers and food, has expanded its sales and marketing team with the addition of Melissa Ortins, Teija Rom-Colthoff and Katelynn Daigle.

Melissa Ortins joins as territory sales representative for eastern Canada and the U.S., and Teija Rom-Colthoff takes on the role of account manager for major retail partnerships.

“We’re excited to welcome Melissa and Teija to the Pure Treats family,” said Terri Lowe, vice president of sales. “Their passion and expertise will help us deepen our relationships with retail partners, connect with even more pet parents, and ensure that more pets enjoy the pure, high-quality products they deserve. We’re confident they’ll make an immediate impact.”

Katelynn Daigle joins as marketing coordinator, supporting the sales team and helping communicate the brand’s focus on simple ingredients.

“Katelynn brings new ideas and energy to the team to help get PureBites’ message of being obsessively focused on simple/high-quality ingredients to pet parents across North America,” said Stuart Menten, director of marketing.

In October 2024, Pure Treats acquired Bar W Foods and Eighteen Below and their human-grade meat processing and freeze-drying facility in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.

Pure Treats specializes in natural dog and cat treats, food and toppers under the brand name PureBites and PureSnacks. Founded in 2005 and based near Montreal, Canada, the company focuses on using simple, high-quality ingredients in its products. Pure Treats products are available online and in various pet stores across North America.
