Eukanuba has appointed Jason Taylor as vice president for its global brand operations.
Taylor joined The Iams Company in 1998 as a financial analyst and has worked across multiple functions including research and development, corporate affairs, strategy development, sales and marketing. Most recently, he served as interim general manager of the U.S. Pet Specialty Retail and Omnichannel Business Unit for Royal Canin North America.
His background includes 19 years as executive producer and assistant show chairman of the AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin broadcast. Taylor has also bred 75 champion Afghan Hounds.
"Jason will play a critical role in shaping brand perception across markets," said Stanley Browning, general manager of the U.S. Pet Specialty Retail and Omnichannel Business Unit for Royal Canin North America. "His passion stems from the true awe and respect he has for the dogs we serve and the impact nutrition has on their lives."
In his new role, Taylor will oversee brand strategy and innovation development globally while maintaining key business responsibilities in the U.S. market. Eukanuba was established in 1969 by Paul Iams to provide nutrition for sporting and working dogs performing athletic tasks.

Taylor holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado Boulder. He lives outside Nashville, Tennessee, U.S., with his wife and son and owns multiple Afghan Hounds, an Affenpinscher and a Sphynx cat.
