Bühler Group announced Tuesday that Johannes Wick will step down as CEO of its Grains & Food business at the end of 2025, with Mike Häfeli appointed as his successor effective January 1, 2026. Wick, who has led the division for a decade, will transition to a new strategic position within the company. Under his leadership, the Grains & Food business expanded its global market share, launched new ventures and achieved strong financial performance.
His tenure saw the development of strategic collaborations with Imdher, Endeco and Premier Tech, along with new ventures in nut de-bacterization and grain puffing.
"Johannes Wick has been a driving force behind Bühler's transformation in the Grains & Food business," said Stefan Scheiber, CEO of Bühler Group. "His strategic vision, deep industry expertise, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting legacy."
Häfeli returns to Bühler where he began his career as an apprentice over 30 years ago. Most recently, he served as CEO of the Eisberg Group and member of the Bell Food Group's Executive Board.
Previously at Bühler, Häfeli worked as Vice President Automation in North America and led the Grain Quality & Supply business area from 2015 to 2023.
