Following the launch of their cat food brand in March, Avanti Pet Care has officially introduced its dog food brand, Avant Furst, this month.

Avanti Pet Care, a subsidiary of aquaculture company Avanti Feeds, launched its Avant Furst dog food brand at an October 4 event in New Delhi, India, attended by more than 100 veterinarians, dealers and retailers.
The company partnered with Thailand-based Bluefalo Group for manufacturing. Avanti Pet Care introduced Avant Furst cat food earlier in 2025.
"Avanti Pet Care looks to making a global mark in the pet industry," said Dr. Indra Kumar Alluri, chairman and managing director of Avanti Group, during the event.
The company plans to expand its Avant Furst portfolio to include wet food and pet treats. Avanti Pet Care also announced plans to build a pet food manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, India.
