Wellness Pet Company unveiled an expanded product portfolio at Global Pet Expo 2026, adding new life stage-targeted cat recipes, shelf-stable dog meal pouches, and a limited-edition treat marking the 100th anniversary of Old Mother Hubbard.
Cat line expansions
The Wellness Appetizing Entrées line adds four recipes formulated for kittens and senior cats. Kitten varieties, available in mousse and flaked formats, include DHA to support brain and eye development. Senior-focused Age Advantage recipes contain added taurine to support heart health and are available in shredded and mousse forms.
Wellness Signature Selects expands with seven recipes, including two kitten versions of existing products. New proteins include lamb, quail egg and turkey liver. The line features hand-packed flakes of tuna or shreds of chicken in sauces and broths.
Dog line expansions
Wellness Protein Bowls launches with eight recipes in resealable, shelf-stable pouches. Each formula is slowly cooked and lists protein as the first ingredient, with visible vegetables, grains, and herbs including rosemary, cumin and thyme.
Wellness Complete Health+ adds three kibble recipes incorporating freeze-dried Wellbites, which the company says add protein and texture compared with existing formulas. Available varieties include Chicken, Whitefish and Small Breed Turkey.
Wellness Whimzees expands with an XL box format. The company says the Brushzees dental chews deliver three times longer chew time when used daily and carry the Veterinary Oral Health Council seal of acceptance for supporting canine oral health.
Centennial milestone
Old Mother Hubbard marks its 100th anniversary this year with a limited-edition treat, P'Nutty B-Day Party, developed in collaboration with Milk Bar. The treat is made with real peanut butter and dog-safe vanilla yogurt icing.
"Our new product lineup reflects exactly what we've heard pet parents want, with elevated, protein-forward recipes that deliver real health benefits without sacrificing taste or convenience," said Greg Kean, Wellness Pet global senior vice president of innovation and nutrition.
