The KC Animal Health Corridor will host the 2026 KC Animal Health Summit, themed "Champions of Animal Health," at the Midland Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S. The two-day event is designed to bring together industry executives, investors and emerging companies for sessions, panels and a pitch competition.
Programming highlights include a keynote from Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Joel Goldberg of the Kansas City Royals on the topic of "Winning Trust," and an executive panel featuring top leaders from Boehringer Ingelheim, Elanco, Merck Animal Health, Hill's Pet Nutrition, MWI Animal Health and Virbac. Panel topics will cover scientific innovation, data intelligence, sustainability and shifting pet owner expectations.
Additional sessions will address global trends in innovation, consumer trends in the U.S. pet market, regulatory strategy and federal policy, and investor priorities in funding and strategic partnerships. Early-stage companies will also compete in a pitch competition spanning pharmaceuticals, vaccines, nutrition, diagnostics and technology.
The summit will also recognize the 2026 Iron Paw Award recipient, Richard R. DeLuca Jr., executive vice president and president of Merck Animal Health.
