Globe Buddy is entering the Baltic market with Lithuania-based Euromedika as its new distribution partner for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The Baltic launch includes products from Globe Buddy's treat portfolio, led by Hearts, the company's newest range of everyday dog treats. The range comprises three recipes: two based on insect protein, paired with seaweed or green tea, and a vegan variety with sweet potato and marigold. The selection also includes the Luxx range, with Luxx Easy and Luxx Energy among the products entering the market.

Globe Buddy makes dog food and treats using alternative protein sources and plant-based ingredients. The company's portfolio also includes dry dog food, with its Brown adult dog food and puppy food among its recent additions.

"We see the Baltic states as an interesting market for Globe Buddy, particularly as consumers and professionals increasingly look for high-quality pet nutrition combined with new approaches to ingredients and protein sources," said Bjarne Gravesen Jensen, co-founder and CEO of Globe Buddy. "For us, international growth is not simply about adding countries to a map — it is about finding the right people to build each market with."

Irina Zelenkevic, CEO of Euromedika, said the Baltic pet care market is evolving, and they see increasing interest from both retailers and pet owners in products that combine quality, functionality and more innovative approaches to nutrition.

"What attracted us to Globe Buddy was not only its use of alternative protein sources, but also the broader concept behind the brand — carefully developed products, functional ingredients and a clear approach to more responsible pet nutrition," said Zelenkevic. "We believe this gives Globe Buddy strong potential in the Baltic markets, and we look forward to building the brand in the region."

Euromedika has an established presence in the Baltic region and experience in the veterinary sector. Through the partnership, Euromedika will distribute Globe Buddy products and support the brand's development across the Baltic markets.

For Globe Buddy, the partnership is said to be part of a broader strategy to expand its international distribution through cooperation with local distributors, agents and specialist pet retailers across Europe.

Globe Buddy, founded in Denmark, launched its first products in 2021. The company's portfolio includes dry dog food, functional treats and everyday snacks, with alternative protein sources such as insect protein, alongside plant-based ingredients, central to its product development. Globe Buddy has also expanded into dog accessories with its Snuzzle snuffle mats, available in three color variants.
