AFIA opens registration for Feed Industry Institute

Event is taking place in June.

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) invites professionals in the animal feed industry to register for its Feed Industry Institute (FII), taking place June 17-20 in Minneapolis, Minn. This biennial event offers valuable insights for newcomers, covering industry ingredients, processes and regulations.

Led by experts like Paul Davis, Ph.D., AFIA’s director of quality, animal food safety, and education, FII 2024 provides a comprehensive overview of the U.S. feed industry. Topics include animal physiology, nutrition basics, ingredient types and purposes, medications and additives, formulation, processing techniques, building consumer trust, international trade participation, and regulatory engagement. The detailed agenda is available here.

Beyond education, FII fosters networking with a reception on June 17 and an optional outing to a Minnesota Twins baseball game on June 19. Early-bird registration discounts, available until March 8, offer rates of $799 for AFIA members and $999 for non-members.
