Bernie's Best

Bernie's Best, a dog supplement company founded after a dog named Bernie experienced digestive issues, is positioning its product line as a research-backed, fairly priced alternative in a category where high price points often signal quality.

The company says its supplements are formulated with effective ingredient doses, manufactured in U.S. facilities, and free from artificial dyes and unnecessary fillers. Third-party research, the company said, guides its formulations rather than ingredient trends.

Perfect Poop 1Bernie's BestIts flagship product, Perfect Poop, is a four-in-one digestive supplement combining fiber, prebiotics, probiotics and enzymes. The formula is designed to replace multiple separate supplements, the company said, and is priced to remain accessible to a broad range of consumers, including seniors on fixed incomes.

"When is a higher price truly about better science and when is it about perception?" the company said in a statement. "Bernie's Best was built to challenge that idea."

Bernie's Best also offers what it calls a Growl Free Guarantee, under which the company will troubleshoot product issues or issue a refund if a dog does not respond well to the flavor or formula.
