Sethness Roquette, the global leader in Caramel Colors for the Food & Beverage industries, announces that David Humphrey joined its team on November 29th as senior account manager. David comes to Sethness Roquette after 11 years as technical sales manager at Jarchem Industries. He has a total of 31 years of experience managing and directing regional sales and marketing efforts for a broad portfolio of products to multiple industries including specialty chemicals, food & nutrition, household, industrial & institutional and personal care.
David will be affiliated with the Avenel, NJ, office, but he will work primarily from his home in Pennington, NJ. He is assuming the sales responsibilities for Al Roth’s accounts in New England and the East Coast–and Aldo Ripley, sales manager, will be assuming Al Roth’s Florida accounts–upon Al’s retirement the end of this year.
Al Roth was hired by the Sethness family back in 1981 and, after 40 years in the business, he has decided to retire from Sethness Roquette effective the end of this year. “Al has been the face of the company on the East Coast, and to the food and beverage industry, for four decades. He is equally beloved and highly respected by colleagues and customers. There has never been a more hardworking, honest, moral and dedicated colleague. Al has always provided strong leadership within the company and to the industry. He has been a terrific mentor to many of us," says Tom Schufreider, president of Sethness Roquette America.
