Zoomark International attendance sets records

Zoomark International 2009, the international pet supplies trade show that was held on May 7 through 10, was considered a success with its record-setting attendance this year, according to a Zoomark press release.

The record number of exhibitors - 616 companies, 57% of which coming from 36 foreign countries - attracted more than 20,000 buyers from 65 countries. Attendance grew by 10%, up 4,800 attendees from the 2007 event.

"We are satisfied especially because our show proved to be able to grow and strengthen its international role evidently against the trend of an extremely difficult world economic situation," said Adolfo Somigliana, on behalf of Zoomark International's organizing team.

Organizers have already fixed the dates for the future show. It will take place at Bologna Fiere from May 12 to 15, 2011.
