Mars has appointed Varun Kakaria as chief digital and information officer for Pet Nutrition North America.
Kakaria joins Mars from Reckitt, where he most recently served as chief information officer for North America. During his 13 years at Reckitt, he held a variety of digital leadership roles.
Kakaria brings more than 22 years of experience in digital and technology leadership across more than 40 countries. His background includes driving artificial intelligence adoption, data-driven decision-making and global program delivery in complex, multinational environments.
In his new role, Kakaria will help advance Mars' Digital First transformation, supporting growth through digital products, data-driven solutions and business partnerships.
