Top speakers from international companies will outline the latest pet industry trends and present their strategies at the International Pet Conference in Barcelona on October 11-12, 2016. Leading figures who will appear at the conference include Torsten Toeller (Fressnapf), Polina Kosharna (Suzirja Company Group) and Cristi Pop (Animax/Pet Product).
As in previous years, the conference will be organized by the trade magazine PET worldwide, published by Dähne Verlag, and Management Forum der Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt. More than 150 delegates are expected to attend the International Pet Conference in Barcelona.
“Exploring new horizons. How companies in the pet product business can expand their activities” is the title of the conference. Discussions will focus on the future development of pet product retailing, innovative marketing and brand strategies and new multichannel and cross-channel concepts.
One of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of the PET Personality of the Year award. The award is given to a person whose activities have advanced the pet supplies sector.
While cat trends continue, the pandemic has added to overall slow-growth treatment of the cat food market.
