The Executive Yuan of China has passed the eighth draft amendment to its Animal Protection Law to regulate petfood products and suppliers, according to The China Post .
The draft states that petfood manufacturers, processors and importers will be under the regulation of the government, have to register their products and provide proof of their products' safety.
