Bil-Jac Foods Inc., a family-owned and operated company making super premium dog food and treats, is pleased to announce that Tommy Walsh has joined the Executive Team as Chief Operating Officer.
Tommy brings 28 years of pet experience to Bil-Jac, including Pet Specialty, Veterinarians, Breeders, and Mass Retail partnerships. He has worked at several well-respected companies including Iams, Procter & Gamble, Mars and Tyson Foods.
Walsh began his pet career at The Iams Company in 1992 as a Territory Sales Manager. He has had increased responsibilities managing diverse teams in the years since. While at Iams/Procter & Gamble, he was the Director of North America Veterinary/Pet Specialty Markets with P&L and sales responsibilities. Most recently, Walsh helped drive the rapidly expanding Tyson Pet business.
“Tommy’s broad experience, across multiple companies and roles, positions him to contribute to the Bil-Jac Family now and in the future,” said Bob Kelly, President of Bil-Jac Foods. “He will work closely with Ray and I to protect and forward the company’s exemplary nutritional legacy that started nearly 75 years ago with Bill and Jack Kelly.”
