Impact Unleashed launched in 2017 to inspire and equip pet industry professionals to meet the growing demand for sustainable products, brands and companies. With speakers from leading brands includingKashi, Ben & Jerry’s, Timberland Shoe Company, and World Wildlife Fund, the annual event reached sold-out capacity in 2019.
In previous years, values-driven pet industry leaders from around the world gathered for the event in Boulder, Colorado. Due to COVID-19 precautions, this year’s event will utilize a robust and engaging virtual conference platform, with PSC expecting 5x growth in attendance.
This year’s lineup includes Danone, home many leading values-driven brands, including Horizon Organics and Silk. Participants will engage in a loaded agenda of world-class keynote speakers and inspiring TED-style presentations about profitable businesses making a positive impact within the pet industry. Full of energy and innovation, Impact Unleashed brings together a community of leaders that cannot be found anywhere else in the pet industry. Networking sessions will provide an opportunity to connect with other professionals all stages of the sustainability journey. A variety of workshops, along with a new virtual exhibit hall will introduce participants to tools and vendors that help accelerate business sustainability.
“The positive energy, passion, and overwhelming sense of shared purpose in the room is unlike anything I’ve experienced at a pet industry event” says Michael Baker, President of PetFood Experts.
“The event not only inspires new visions of future opportunities but also instills in the attendees a sense of ownership over our collective responsibility. In my 14+ years in the pet industry, this is the best example I’ve seen of companies working together, shedding the competitive nature of retail and aligning on meaningful shared environmental goals” says Cherish Morrison, Senior Category Manager at Mud Bay.
Companies are encouraged to take advantage of this year’s virtual platform by purchasing an unlimited company pass, to serve as an end-of-year engagement booster and kick off 2021 with purpose. The first 200 registrants receive event boxes with sustainable goodies from its brand partners including custom designed apparel and natural foods.
