In March 2018, 10 dog and cat food recalls occurred, some involving multiple products, according to the United States Food and Drug Administration website. Several of the recalls involved raw pet food. J.M. Smucker upgraded their withdrawal from February to a recall that included Gravy Train, Skippy, Kibbles ‘N Bits and Ol’ Roy dog foods.

Radagast was notified by the FDA and the Ohio Department of Agriculture after several tubs of multiple varieties of Rad Cat Raw Diet were purchased and tested.

This recall was initiated after samples collected and tested by the FDA showed positive for Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes.
