In this newly formed role, Mullins will lead Primal’s sales organization and collaborate with chief marketing officer Courtney Louch to drive growth for the company’s brands, including Primal Pet Foods.

This transition also marks a shift for longtime leader Matt Pirz, who will step away from daily operations but continue serving as a member of Primal Pet Group’s board of directors.
“Matt has been instrumental in the growth and success of Primal Pet Foods over the last 20 years and clearly leaves a lasting impact on our team and business,” Balousek said. “While I will miss his day-to-day partnership, I’m excited he’ll still be serving as a director.”
