Wynwood Dog Food Co. announced two prescription diet additions to its FRESH RX line: Low Fat Digestive Support and Weight + Mobility Support. The company will debuted the products at the 2026 Veterinary Meeting & Expo (VMX), where it was selected for the New Product Showcase.
The Low Fat Digestive Support diet targets dogs with acute gastrointestinal upset, fat-responsive conditions including pancreatitis and hyperlipidemia, and possible adverse food reactions. The formulation includes a novel protein source, highly digestible ingredients, and added prebiotics and probiotics.
The Weight + Mobility Support diet is formulated for veterinarian-guided weight loss in overweight or obese dogs while supporting joint and musculoskeletal health. The diet delivers high-quality protein to preserve lean muscle mass and omega-3 fatty acids to help manage inflammation and support mobility, while allowing up to a 20% calorie reduction.
Both diets meet AAFCO requirements for adult maintenance and were developed by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist and a PhD animal nutritionist.

Wynwood said FRESH RX products use whole ingredients, gentle cooking and higher nutrient density. The company positions the diets as alternatives to prescription kibble and canned options at a comparable price point to prescription canned products.
