Carnivore Meat Company names CFO

Sergey Agafonkin brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience to the role.

Carnivore Meat Company, parent company of Vital Essentials, has named Sergey Agafonkin as chief financial officer, the company announced.

In the new role, Agafonkin will oversee the company's financial strategy and finance operations, working with CEO Heather Govea and the leadership team at Carnivore Meat Company.

"Sergey's appointment represents an important step on our growth trajectory," Govea said. "He's a collaborative leader who leverages financial insight to drive smart, sustainable growth, and we're excited to welcome him to our best-in-class executive team."

The company said the appointment comes as Carnivore Meat Company continues expanding its presence with independent retailers and online customers.
