Building upon a 24-year history of connecting international businesses with Asia pet industry and marketplace, the Asia Pet Alliance (APA) and Pet Fair Asia are increasing their efforts to help brands source new suppliers and develop distribution channels throughout Asia, with a new consultative solution, Pet Link Asia.
Pet Link Asia’s first chapter in North America will take place online, from November 16 to 20, 2020, lifting the barriers of networking during a period of restricted travel. The five-day online event will be tailor-made for North American pet brands, distributors and retailers. Here’s what the platform has to offer:
- Connect with 100+ pre-selected suppliers, representing a wide range of categories, so as to further diversify your product line and explore manufacturing alternatives.
- Approach leading distributors and e-commerce partners in Asian markets, to expand your overseas business.
- Join exclusive seminars on sourcing and market access in Asia.
“In addition to WPA’s own offline and online initiative in the US, we trust that Pet Link Asia @ North America will benefit our members’ continuous need for innovation, new product development and help boost their exports to Asia”, said Victor Mason, President of World Pet Association (WPA).
In continued support of the global pet industry, WPA and PIJAC Canada (Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council of Canada) are joining efforts with Asia Pet Alliance, so as to better connect the North American pet industry with the Asia-Pacific region.
“With global trade filled with ongoing uncertainty, we believe this initiative will best serve the interests of Canadian pet industry, enhancing our members’ international exposure and the ability for our industry to diversify and strengthen its supply chain,” added Christine Carrière, President and CEO, PIJAC Canada.
Professionals from North America and Asia Pacific are encouraged to pre-register today, free of charge. Buyer’s qualification program begins October 26.
