Kormotech is currently exporting products to 39 countries--including the US, France, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia—under its brands and private labels. This is six countries more than the previous year. The Optimeal brand is available in nearly 200 independent East Coast pet stores and online retailers such as Amazon, Chewy and PetFlow.
The Kaufland hypermarket chain (which is part of the Schwarz Group of companies) operates 1,200 stores in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Moldova. From this point forward, Kormotech brands Optimeal and Club 4 Paws will be available in hypermarkets in Bulgaria and will soon be in Romania, Poland and Croatia.
In 2023, Kormotech also signed a 5-year partnership deal with CaniAgueda (one of the biggest Portuguese distributors).

In 2023, the company intends to expand its capacities in both Ukraine and Lithuania, as well as step up its presence in the export markets. In upcoming months, Kormotech brands Optimeal and Club 4 Paws will appear at the Global Pet Expo (Orlando, USA) and Zoomark (Bologna, Italy) exhibitions.
Along with its business achievements, Kormotech has been able to help 30,000 cats and dogs suffering due to the war in Ukraine in the past three months. The “Save Pets of Ukraine” humanitarian initiative (launched by Kormotech in March 2022) has delivered over 1,000 tons of pet food (of which, Kormotech provided about 200 tons). Moreover, Kormotech and its global and Ukrainian partners have raised nearly $2.3 million USD. Thanks to the work of the Kormotech team, volunteers and Ukrainian and international partners, the initiative has been able to help more than 260,000 beautiful, furry companions.
The main partners of the initiative are Greater Good Charities, American Pet Products Association, UK Pet Industry Federation, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, and the U-Hearts Foundation. The initiative has sourced donations from charities, pet industry leaders, and individuals across the world—including countries such as the USA, the United Kingdom, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria and Germany.
