Loopworm, a pioneering biosciences and biomanufacturing company transforming farmed insects into sustainable products, has achieved the ISO 22000, GMP+ and HACCP certifications for its LoopFactory production facility in Bangalore. This 6000-tons-per-annum insect protein facility now meets stringent international safety and quality standards, underscoring Loopworm’s commitment to providing high-quality, insect-derived products for pet foods and animal feed.

  • ISO 22000: Ensures rigorous food safety management and control to prevent contamination
  • GMP+ (Good Manufacturing Practices for Feed): Certifies consistent production and international quality control, critical for European market penetration
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points): Guarantees risk management and preemptive safety measures, preventing biological, chemical, and physical contamination
