The Virginia Cat Festival seeking vendors for inaugural event

The Virginia Cat Festival, set for November 9 and 10, 2024, in Williamsburg, is seeking vendors for its inaugural event. This is a fantastic opportunity for pet product companies, small businesses and entrepreneurs to showcase their cat-centric products to passionate cat lovers from around the region. Booths are priced at $65, which includes everything except electricity.

The event, sponsored by the City of Williamsburg, promises to be a fun-filled weekend with highlights such as a “marcatplace” for vendors, funny cat videos, workshops and various family-friendly feline-themed activities. Special guest Jackson Galaxy, star of Animal Planet’s My Cat from Hell, will be the keynote speaker on November 9, offering expert advice on feline behavior.

Saturday, November 9 – Kimball Auditorium (400 South Henry St.)

  • 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.: Cat Video Festival
  • 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.: Keynote Speaker: Jackson Galaxy
  • 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.: Funniest Cat People
  • 9:00 - 11:00 p.m.: Cats: Feral Edition

Sunday, November 10 – Williamsburg Lodge (310 S. England St.)

  • Noon - 7:00 p.m.: Cat Marcatplace, workshops, panels, activities, and games
