Farm Hounds supports family farms and regenerative agriculture

Farm Hounds treats support family farms and regenerative agriculture.

Regenerative agriculture is the wave of the future of farming and food production. And that goes for the products sourced for the pet industry as well. Farm Hounds leads the way in partnering with farmers to bring the purest, most transparently-sourced and earth-friendly products to the marketplace for dogs.

Did you know that regenerative agriculture helps to fight the climate crisis? According to The Climate Reality Project, “it is a system of farming principles and practices that seeks to rehabilitate and enhance the entire ecosystem of the farm by placing a heavy premium on soil health with attention also paid to water management, fertilizer use, and more.” The process fights the climate crisis by pulling carbon from the atmosphere and sequestering it in the ground.

Farm Hounds’ dog treats and chews support family farms, regenerative agriculture, and humane farming practices. The brand’s all-natural hides are sourced from its farm partners and are made from 100% pasture-raised animals.

The brand provides dogs with healthy hide rolls and chips for even the most aggressive chewers. They’re 100% natural, which makes the chew highly digestible, and helps them avoid toxins and glues found in common mass-produced chews.

Long before Farm Hounds was launched in 2016, this small Atlanta-based business focused on the health and happiness of dogs with a boarding and daycare facility. Offering a curated selection of foods, treats, and accessories for customers, the business expanded into the retail space launching The Whole Dog Market. In 2015, a new project arose as the store brand worked to develop all-natural treats and chews direct from the farm. The partnership was so fulfilling that from there, Farm Hounds was born.
