Petsense by Tractor Supply will partnered with local shelters across the country to host their semi-annual national Spring “Adoptathon” event on May 20.
Petsense by Tractor Supply is passionate about giving shelter pets the second chance they deserve. With that, the company is proud to invite local organizations into its stores to help adoptable dogs, cats and other furry friends gain additional exposure and find forever homes.
According to the Humane Society, approximately 6.5 million animals nationally enter shelters each year, but only about half of those animals get adopted. Determined to improve this situation across U.S., Petsense by Tractor Supply’s goal is to save as many shelter animal lives as possible at this weekend’s event.
Customers who attended the Adoptathon experienced:
- Local animal shelters and rescue groups on site with dogs and cats eligible for adoption
- Other adoptable small and specialty animals at certain stores
- Perks for those who adopt animals, including a goody bag of fun giveaways and several special coupons to save on supplies, grooming and food as a new pet parent
