Merrick Pet Care expanded the recall of its "Beef Filet Squares" and "Texas Hold’ems" dog treats to include all lots of the products, due to possible Salmonella contamination
The company previously recalled 83 cases of the treats for dogs after a sample tested positive for Salmonella contamination. The recalled treats are sold in 10-ounce packages and were shipped to distributors and retailers throughout the US. No illnesses have been reported, according to the company.
If consumers purchased these treats, they may be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. For more information, contact Merrick at +1.800.664.7387, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Standard Time (US).
