Central Garden & Pet Co. reported financial results for its second quarter, ending on March 26.
The company reported second-quarter net sales of US$485.7 million, an increase of 10% over the same period one year ago. Branded product sales increased by US$49.4 million, 13%, to US$417.3 million, according to the company. Central reported that its pet products segment’s branded product sales were US$186.0 million, an increase of US$3.2 million.
