Petfood packaging manufacturer Weatherchem recently released its yearly summary for 2011, in which Weatherchem says it had the most successful year in the company's 40-year history.
During 2011, Weatherchem experienced growth of 21 percent and an employment expansion of 15 percent.
The company says it used the year as a platform for infrastructure and plant investments to drive continued revenue growth, among which include an expansion of the company's flagship product line, NutraGenII closures, and the 43mm FlapMate line; a redesigned new product development and innovation strategy; installation of a new ERP system to handle the company's expansion in plant production and volume; and acceptance into the Drug-Free Workplace program offered by the state of Ohio, USA, where the company is headquartered.
