Held in the palatial surroundings of Hofburg Palace, Vienna, Austria, the Animalis edition of the World Branding Awards, recognizes the marketing work of the world’s best pet and animal brands.
‘Animalis’, Latin for ‘animals,’ this is the second time the international awards ceremony has been staged, with a staggering 1,000 brands from 38 countries being nominated by the public. Over 95,000 pet and animal lovers from around the world voted for their favorite brands.
Commenting on the award, Knut Heggen, VP QRILL Pet Sales, Aker BioMarine says, “We are always looking to further develop as an ingredient brand, recognizable by end consumers. Creating that brand awareness is key to helping us educate pet owners on the numerous health benefits of the nutrients in QRILL Pet. This award is testament to that and the exceptional work our marketing team consistently produces to raise our profile.”
“The Animalis Edition of the Awards are an acknowledgement to the tireless effort of the teams that build and maintain their brand presence in an ever-changing market in the pet and animal industry,” says Richard Rowles, Chairman, World Branding Forum.
Julian Andersen, Managing Director, World Branding Forum adds, “A good brand needs to offer a meaningful experience to their customers, while remaining relevant and distinctive. Brands that do win show that they have set the standard for what is expected of other brands to be at the top of their game.”
Taking the stage to accept the award on behalf of the company, Aysen Korucu, Senior Marketing Manager QRILL Pet, Aker BioMarine says, “We are incredibly proud to receive this prestigious award for our QRILL Pet brand, as it shows that our marketing and branding efforts make a genuine impact, both on the pet industry and its consumers. It is also particularly satisfying as an ingredient brand, which can often be overlooked by pet owners, to be directly nominated by the public.”
A functional ingredient for pet food derived from Antarctic krill, QRILL Pet is a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids, marine proteins, choline and the powerful antioxidant astaxanthin.
