Following ten years of devoted service with the F.L. Emmert Company, the company’s Senior Vice President of Sales, David Westhoven, has announced his retirement. Westhoven will transition to a consulting role through the end of 2020.
Westhoven was appointed Senior Vice President of Sales in 2017. Prior to that, he was National Sales Manager of both the pet and livestock yeast divisions from 2009. Westhoven was integral in Emmert’s growth the past decade.
“We are very grateful to Dave for his hard work and dedication these past ten years. Our tremendous growth is attributable to Dave’s leadership and we are thankful that he will continue to be a part of our company going forward,” said Emmert President and CEO, Jeff Busch.
Emmert welcomes Gary Mitchell as Vice President of Sales. Mitchell joins the company with more than 25 years’ experience and an extensive concentration in the yeast industry.
“We are very excited to welcome Gary to the Emmert family. His 25+ years of experience leading sales teams and growing top line revenue will continue the growth of our business,” said Busch. Gary has previously led sales teams at Phileo, Lesaffre, Monsanto and Land O’Lakes CountryMark.
