The Taiwan Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine has advised the public against bringing petfood into the country, as some of the products may include ingredients that are barred from entering Taiwan.
The advisory statement was made after the country's Consumer Production Commission found illegally imported petfood in a store containing US beef and offal, which are products not allowed to enter Taiwan without authorized permission, according to Focus Taiwan .
