Pet Fair Asia 2025 has reached full capacity with more than 2,600 exhibitors confirmed for the August 20-24 event in Shanghai, China, representing a 4% increase from the 2,500 exhibitors in 2024. The 27th edition of the trade show will occupy 310,000 square meters of exhibition space, with the supply chain and small pet sectors driving growth by adding 10,000 square meters compared to last year.

The exhibitor roster includes major pet food manufacturers Acana, ADM, Orijen, Purina, Royal Canin and Schesir, alongside newcomers such as Alfavet, Animology, Grainli, and Natural Code making their debut at the show.

International participation continues to expand with pavilions from Japan, New Zealand, Poland, South Korea, Taiwan, and the U.S. Poland will launch its first independent pavilion featuring six co-exhibitors, while the USDA will organize the U.S. pavilion with seven participating companies.

"We are excited to announce that we will organize the USA Pavilion at this year's Pet Fair Asia," said Alex Blamberg, director of the USDA Agricultural Trade Office at the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai. "The pavilion will showcase the strength and diversity of high-quality USA products and ingredients. We look forward to welcoming visitors at our stand in Hall N5."

The event will feature concurrent conferences including the 14th International Pet Industry Summit on August 19, focusing on global trade dynamics and AI-driven innovation. The Asia Pet Food Summit on August 20 will address pet nutrition trends, sustainable practices and biotech innovations, with Jim Lamancusa, CEO of the Pet Sustainability Coalition, among the keynote speakers.

"In the midst of a complex global economic and trade environment, Pet Fair Asia 2025 will serve as a vital platform for industry professionals to build new partnerships, explore emerging trends, and navigate the future of the pet business," said David Zhong, president at GLOBUS Events, the show's co-organizer. "China continues to play a pivotal role in the global pet economy, with scale, innovation, and dynamic market shaping the sector's development."

Pet Fair Asia will also host the release of the 2025 China pet market report by the Asia Pet Alliance during the summit programming.
