Gott Pet Products, a family-owned company that manufactures Charlee Bear natural dog treats and Hound & Gatos natural food for pets, is pleased to announce that they’ll be supporting the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County (HAWS) by donating food and treats to their newly opened pantry during this time of need.
The HAWS Pantry was created at the shelter as a take what you need/leave what you can initiative to both collect donations and help pet owners during COVID-19 restrictions and closures. As part of their donation, Hound & Gatos is providing cat and dog kibble along with cases of canned cat and dog food. Charlee Bear is also donating assorted treats.
“Our company loves helping underprivileged pets and has committed itself to supporting shelters and rescues throughout the country,” commented Patrick McGarry, Chief Operating Officer of Gott Pet Products and proud board member of HAWS. “When we heard that HAWS was opening up a pantry, we wanted to provide the initial stock for this wonderful resource to help the community and assist those in need.”
This is not the first time Gott Pet Products has worked with HAWS. Just last year, Hound & Gatos was able to support HAWS by sponsoring their shelter vehicle. The shelter vehicle made it possible for HAWS to bring adoptable pets to community events throughout the area. It also allowed them to travel around the US to help rescue pets after natural disasters and transport them from other states, keeping these adoptable pets safe and helping them find a loving home.
