Midwestern Pet Foods has unveiled updated recipes and packaging for its Earthborn Holistic dry cat food line. The changes align with the brand's recent rebranding of its dog food products, featuring modernized packaging and improved nutrition.

The updated recipes include Primitive Feline, made with real chicken, and Wild Sea Catch, made with real salmon. Both recipes now incorporate pumpkin and sweet potato as added sources of fiber to support gut health. The cat food is available in 4-pound and 12.5-pound bags.

In addition to nutritional updates, the brand's new packaging is made from 25% recycled materials using the ISCC mass balance approach, which tracks material flow in the chemical industry and supports progress toward a circular and bio-based economy.

Customers can expect to see the new-look Earthborn Holistic cat food on store shelves as it continues to roll out nationwide.

According to Petfood Industry's Top Pet Food Companies, Midwestern Pet Foods is a fourth-generation, family-owned business headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, U.S. The company produces its dry pet food and treats in four, company-owned and operated kitchens in the U.S. It offers 100% recyclable packaging through the Earthborn ReBorn program.
