The Orange Dot Award, established by industry experts including Bob Vetere, former president of the American Pet Products Association, aims to define and celebrate innovation in the global pet industry.
The award evaluates contributions across pet food and nutrition, biotechnology and health care, smart pet technologies, and eco-friendly sustainability, emphasizing novel business strategies and creative designs.
To be considered, products can be available now, through an upcoming launch or at the idea stage. A panel of judges from pet industry leadership, associations and academia will rigorously assess submissions to ensure recognition of excellence and to establish a standard for innovation in pet care.
The inaugural winners of the Orange Dot Award will be revealed on March 27, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, U.S., during Global Pet Expo.
