The 2025 Pets Canada Industry Show was held April 13–14 at the BMO Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta, welcoming more than 700 attendees and over 115 exhibiting companies.

The event highlighted key industry trends in pet nutrition, sustainability, technology and product innovation, while also providing a platform for timely policy discussions and recognition of industry leaders.

Tariffs were a major topic of conversation, with Pets Canada staff and representatives from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business engaging attendees to gather feedback and support ongoing lobbying efforts on behalf of the industry.

“We are thrilled with the turnout and the excitement at this year’s show,” said Christine Carrière, president & CEO of Pets Canada. “The support from our sponsors and the active engagement from the pet community demonstrate just how vital this event has become in bringing the industry together.”

Sponsored by Nutram Pet Products and Anipet Animal Supplies, the event also featured the annual Pets Canada Western Awards. Oven-Baked Tradition’s new CARE formula for small-breed adult dogs was voted “Favourite New Product,” and over 1,300 industry members submitted votes and testimonials to help recognize outstanding professionals and products.

Pets Canada’s next B2B events will take place August 24–25 in Drummondville, Quebec, and September 17–18 in Mississauga, Ontario, as part of a new weekday format.
