Trait Biosciences, a biotechnology research company pioneering IP-protected cannabinoid scientific innovations, has announced exciting results of an exploratory in-home evaluation of its water-soluble cannabidiol ingredient, CBD82S™, for joint health and mobility in pets challenged with owner-perceived chronic joint pain and owner-observed pet mobility.
In both dogs and cats, pet owners reported:

- Enhanced pet mobility, including walking, standing and jumping

Conventional cannabidiol (CBD) has been shown to provide anti-inflammatory benefits and mobility improvements in pets challenged with joint stiffness and reduced pet mobility, two key health challenges facing aging pets. Conventional CBD, however, is water-insoluble, which reduces its bioavailability, and presents several formulation considerations including dosing consistency and stability.
Trait Biosciences has developed unique and proprietary technology, leveraging enzymatic and chemical purification processes, that transform hemp-derived cannabinoids into truly water-soluble cannabinoids. This breakthrough enables superior bioavailability, improved functional efficacy, unlocks more of cannabinoids’ health and wellness benefits, and enables several administration formats not generally possible with conventional cannabinoids.
