The F.L. Emmert Company is pleased to unveil a new corporate image. Described by sixth-generation company leadership as an “up-brand,” the new look reflects the family-owned business’s core values and commitment to animal health. “This is who we’ve been since 1881 and now it shines from the inside out,” says Elizabeth Barber, Vice President of Corporate Development. Dropping the founder’s initials of F.L. from the logo is one way Emmert modernized the look.
As a longtime leader in animal nutrition, Emmert’s dedication to optimal animal wellness is evident in the new “Performance that Shines” campaign. Authentic photography on the company’s website and sales materials features healthy, thriving animals whose diets are enriched by Emmert ingredients.
Emmert has also changed executive leadership: former President and CEO, Wayne Rod, moves to Board Directorship and Jeff Busch has been hired as President and CEO. “We are very excited to have Jeff on board as he has extensive leadership experience with high growth companies,” Rod says. Busch brings to Emmert 28 years of experience in the human food industry, including leadership roles as President of three other family businesses. “I will continue the momentum by building upon the already strong foundation to reward all stakeholders – customers, employees, vendors and owners – with sustained success,” Busch says.
