In celebration of National Pet Wellness Month, Petfinder, in partnership with Purina, has donated over 330,000 EverRoot dog supplements to Greater Good Charities, valued at more than $1.9 million. This generous contribution will support the health and wellness of shelter dogs in the Seattle area, helping thousands of pets as they await adoption and settle into their new homes.
EverRoot supplements, developed by PhD animal nutritionists, focus on key areas of canine health, including joint, skin, coat, calming and digestion support. The supplements are made with nutrient-rich ingredients like pumpkin and spirulina to promote overall wellness and immune health.
Dr. RuthAnn Lobos, lead veterinarian at Purina, expressed pride in the partnership, stating that the EverRoot supplements are designed to help keep dogs happy and healthy. In addition, Petfinder is contributing $25,000 to Greater Good Charities to assist with providing essential supplies to pets nationwide.
Liz Baker, CEO of Greater Good Charities, highlighted the importance of these donations, which will assist both shelters and pet families in caring for their dogs' well-being.
Petfinder connects potential adopters with pets in need from over 11,000 shelters and rescue groups across North America. This partnership showcases Purina and Petfinder's ongoing commitment to promoting animal adoption and supporting the health of shelter pets.
