The largest pet food companies in the world get to that point—and tend to stay there—by continuing to grow each year. Do these leaders share certain traits or practices?

The Top Petfood Companies of 2022 table highlights the players in our Top Pet Food Companies Database that increased their revenues the most from 2021-2022. Caveat: One or two may be benefiting from our researchers having better data than in previous years; they scour as many sources as possible to find accurate numbers, but typically, the best sources are the companies themselves. For the 2022 report, we received direct feedback from some that we hadn’t heard from before—meaning the 2021 comparison may not have been entirely accurate.
