
Purina is now the official pet food and pet treats partner of Men in Blazers Media Network, marking a new collaboration between the pet care company and North America’s largest soccer-focused media company. The partnership aims to engage fans through soccer-themed pet content, social media campaigns, and a live event celebrating pets and the sport.
The effort kicks off with a five-part digital content series, presented by Purina and hosted by former U.S. Women’s National Team player Sam Mewis, that will feature pet stories from prominent figures in soccer. The series will run across Men in Blazers and The Women’s Game platforms.
In addition, a new campaign titled “PET FC” will invite fans to share pet stories tied to their love of soccer. Selected submissions will be featured in the network’s weekly newsletter, The Raven.
“As a dog owner who loves to do little more than to watch football with my dog, Martin Scorsese, I recognize the deep affinity between soccer fans and their pets,” said Roger Bennett, CEO and founder of Men in Blazers Media Network. “Purina’s commitment to creating meaningful content and experiences for our audience aligns perfectly with our mission.”
A pet-friendly live event, “St. Louis Live,” is also in the works for this summer in Purina’s hometown. Hosted by Mewis and others, the show will celebrate St. Louis as a soccer hub and include pet-friendly areas, a custom photo booth, and branded pet merchandise.

The collaboration builds on Purina’s existing involvement in soccer. The company is the founding partner and kit sponsor of St. Louis CITY SC and supports the Purina Club, the first permanent, pet-friendly section in a U.S. soccer stadium.
As part of this new deal, Purina branding and content will appear across Men in Blazers’ digital shows, social media and newsletters throughout the year.
